Built in 1887, the Washington School was the first high school in Columbus, designed by architect Charles Sparrell. It was converted into apartments in 1981. The property won the Indiana award for the best Historic Residential rehabilitation in 1981.
All seven apartments are unique. Two are very large loft two story apartments and one is a two story apartment with a spiral staircase.
